Prayer for the Synodal Journey
O Holy Father, Father of Light, you surround us with your fatherly providence. You create us in your image and resemblance, and, through baptism, You renew us, making us your children, brothers and sisters of your Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, and temples of your Holy Spirit. We give you thanks for your infinite love.
O Lord Jesus, as you keep us company during our Synodal Journey, bless our Maronite Church. Send us your Holy Spirit to abide in our hearts and enlighten our minds, so that we may listen to His inspirations and follow His instructions. May we accept the teachings of our Patriarchal Synod, bring them into our life, live by them and spread them as a testimony to your Gospel and a service to your Kingdom.
O Holy Spirit, Spirit of Wisdom, Love and Holiness, confirm us on the path of our renewal as a church. Sustain us, individuals, families and communities, in our commitment to the recommendations of our Patriarchal Synod and to its resolution, within our eparchies, religious orders and institutions, so that we may continue to give testimony for a civilization of love. We ask this through the intercession of Our Mother, the Virgin Mary, the Mother of God, and of our Holy Father, Saint Maron and of all the saints.
